I referred to this t-shirt in another post. People seemed to like this idea, so I am sharing with its own post.
My daughter is 11 years old now, but when she was about 4-5 this was her favorite shirt.
It was always the fist worn shirt out of the clean laundry. (i.e. jerry seinfeld’s golden boy episode).
I have many pictures of her wearing this shirt, it brings back so many great memories.
So when she outgrew it, I just could not bring myself to donate to Savers. http://www.savers.com
What i did was, I bought a large frame about 11×17 and an 8×10 inset and framed it! It furned out great!
My name is Jill. I am a Realtor w/Coldwell Banker since 2002, I'm a mom of a blended family w/ four kids. His, mine and ours. :) Three members of my family have ADD/ADHD. I wasn't built for this but I'm finding my way. So you'll understand why my family needs order in our lives. Routines or "RITUALS" are extremely important to ADHD families. From how ADHD & ADD has been described to me is that it's a deficit in planning and organizing. One of my gifts is that I have always been highly organized in my pre-family personal life and also in my professional career. I have spent years drowning in this disability within my family and I've had it. I am taking back my organizer hat and pushing forward. So...routines, order, RITUALS, organization, and planning are all very important to me. Onward and upward.
